I really like its shade range as it offers a variety of shades. It contains 32 eyeshadows and 10 blush shades. On balance, it’s no big whoop. This palette has a huge range of shades, and it has almost every kind of shade that I can use to create various eye looks. I guess I’d be more concerned about it if I didn’t do the exact same thing with UD’s palettes, as I get a good amount of fallout from their shadows, too. Like WHOA! To deal with it, I usually end up doing my eyes first, cleaning up whatever falls on my cheeks, and then finishing the rest of my makeup. If you decide to work with this palette, consider doing your eyes first, as I do experience some fallout with the shimmers (but not so much with the mattes). Additional makeup worn in this look: Sigma Beauty Serene Powder Blush on my cheeks and Sigma Beauty Tint Lip Gloss on my lips They don’t appear heavy on my lids, don’t draw attention to my fine lines, and I don’t sprain my wrist blending them out, either. When I run my finger across the pans, the powders feel creamy and bunny-tail soft - there’s no grit. Naked dupe or not, I really like these Coastal Scents eyeshadows. Of course, there is a big price difference… Plus, their shimmers are shinier, and overall, I think they just blend a tad better (at least for me). I think it’s a valiant effort, but not an exact dupe, as UD’s shadows seem to lay down a little more pigment. ![]() Swatches of the top row…Ĭolor-wise, it’s like getting Naked and Naked2 in a single palette, and something tells me Coastal Scents borrowed heavily from both UD palettes, because many of the shades are similar. Open the cardboard packaging (it has a magnetic closure), and Revealed reveals two rows of 10 eyeshadows, for 20 total, all of them neutrals, with 16 shimmers and four mattes. So, why the Revealed palette? Well, if you eyed Urban Decay’s Naked and/or Naked2 palettes but didn’t spring due to their price ($52 each), Revealed could be an option. None of the products are too expensive, either, and the aren’t tested on animals. I recently started testing a few things from the line, and uh, yeah, so far, I’m not seeing any shortages of pigment. It seemed like for a hot second there, the Coastal Scents 88 Palette (with, like, every color imaginable) was hella trendy. I didn’t know much about the brand before this week, only what I’d heard on YouTube. ![]()
